Four arrested for drug peddling in Al Ain

Abu Dhabi Police have arrested four drug peddlers and seized 2.5 million banned Captogon capsules in their possession.

The police monitored activities of the four persons in Al Ain and then found them packing these capsules in plastic bags intending to sell it to youngsters.

Lieutenant Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, director of the anti-narcotics department at Abu Dhabi Police, said police received a tip-off of suspected illegal activities. “We tracked their movement and found them involved in drug peddling,” he said.

Police urged the public to cooperate with them and report any suspicious activity in their vicinity. Residents are urged to call Aman (8002626) if they have any such information.
