Dubai Police departments rewarded for suggestions

Dubai: Lieutenant-General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Chief of Dubai Police, rewarded police departments and stations that recorded the highest number of effective suggestions and ideas in 2008 to enhance their services for the community and police operations.

Over Dh8 million was provided for the effective implementation of these suggestions.

The General Department of the Dubai Police Operations and Dubai Police Ports Station recorded the highest number of implemented suggestions.

Airports Security was ranked second followed by the General Department of Administrative Affairs in third place.

According to Major General Dr Abdul Al Qudoos Abdul Al Razzaq, Dubai Police's total quality management director, the number of suggestions reported in 2008 peaked at 8,066 - marking an increase of 2,634 more than in 2007.
