Deepak Arora has taken a lot of time to design the interiors of his villa in Dubai. The result is a home which is not only light and uncluttered but is also an interesting mix of the traditional and the modern.

Architect Deepak Arora is not a man in a hurry. He has an incredible amount of patience and can wait for years to find the right artefact or piece of furniture for his home. As a matter of fact, it took him 15 years to find the right coffee-table for his living room.

His wife, Ritu, who works with him in the family businesses and is equally involved in decorating the home, says, "He is so particular about things that if he does not like something I pick up, he will diplomatically persuade me against placing it in the interiors."
