Civil Defence rescue man trapped in car

Rescuers had to use hydraulic scissors to cut the vehicle where the driver was trapped

Ajman: The Civil Defence team in Ajman managed to free an Emirati man who was trapped in his car after he collided with a truck in Al Jurf Industrial area on Monday morning. The injured man was transferred to Khalifa Hospital.

Colonel Nasser Rashid Al Ziri, director of Media and Public Relations Department at Ajman Civil Defence, said the operations room received information about a collision of two vehicles.

It was found that the Emirati driver was trapped in one of the vehicles. The rescuers had to use hydraulic scissors to cut open the vehicle where the driver was trapped.

Col Al Ziri said that the driver sustained moderate injuries and was immediately taken to a hospital in an ambulance to receive medical care.
