Car falls into sea in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah: Ras Al Khaimah Police recovered the car of an Emirati man after it fell into the sea in Al Rams area on Thursday night.

The central operations room received a tip-off that a vehicle had fallen into the sea.

People present at the scene reported the incident to authorities, and saved the driver’s life after the vehicle fell into the water.

Maritime rescue teams, police patrols and ambulances rushed to the scene, and recovered the vehicle.

The file of the incident has been forwarded to the competent authorities for further procedures.

Meanwhile, residents of the area called on authorities to install sea barriers or concrete barriers to avoid such incidents, which they say have happened repeatedly.
