From dazzling international performers, star-studded concerts to children’s favourite stage shows, superb offers and promotions across hotels, malls and attractions, the festival which runs until September 11 promises an action packed summer.
Superstars on capital’s biggest stage
Celebrate Eid this year with a night full of cheer and sing-along. Be there for the ‘Queen of the Stage’ and Lebanese international sensation Myriam Fares, who will headline the Eid main concert. And to perfect the night, Iraqi all-time favourite Waleed El Shami will take the stage to keep the adrenaline pumping with some of his best tunes.
Dinosaurs are coming back to life
A thrilling experience made for adventurers-at-heart, You will walk in the footsteps of the biggest prehistoric dinosaurs, engage with them and even feed them in a performance like no other. One of the ‘UK’s Top Ten Dinosaur Attractions’, the epic ‘Dinosaur Zoo Live’ is coming to Abu Dhabi this summer with equal parts fun and education for both kids and adults.
Laugh riot in the capital
Get ready to laugh your heart out this summer. Heart for Sale, the latest theatrical masterpiece from GCC fan-favourite Tarek Al Ali, the Kapil Sharma Comedy Show and Marlon Wayans’ hilarious stand-up comedy will leave you rolling off your seat. Also, don’t miss The Arab Comedy Festival which will feature a stellar line-up of comedians, including Emirati Taim Al Falasi, the Saudi Trio of Fadi Al Shehri, Ebrahim Saleh and Ebrahim Khairallah among others.
Bollywood in UAE capital
Bollywood fans are the big winners this summer in Abu Dhabi. Bollywood superstar Shaan will perform live in concert along with top musicians and vocalists, followed by an Abu Dhabi first: ‘Bollywood in the Capital’, a musical extravaganza that will feature the best of Bollywood. Vishal and Shekhar, Farhan Akhtar and India’s beloved trio of Shankar, Ehsan and Loy are set to play sensational tunes across the capital, Al Ain and Al Gharbia.
One Piece Film: Gold
A visual treat for the senses comes to the capital with the world premiere of One Piece Film: Gold. The best-selling manga comic of all time is a long running Japanese comic and animated series by Oda Eiichiro.
The adrenaline keeps pumping
Spellbinding tricks, breathtaking acts, flame-wielding fire spinners and astounding contortionists, trapeze artists and daredevil motorcyclists will mesmerise you at the amazing Cirque Adrenaline.
Jamie Raven’s illusion
Ever questioned your eyes before? We can almost guarantee it when you attend Jamie Raven’s Illusion Show this summer, who has picked Abu Dhabi as his exclusive destination in the Middle East for his first-ever world tour.
Fun for the kids
This summer, Abu Dhabi plays host to household favourites including Dora the Explorer, Spongebob SquarePants and Shaun the Sheep in shows that are sure to keep the youngest members of our community entertained. Interactive playing experiences with Kitchen Mission, Championsheep and Tasali are also on offer for families to beat the heat.
