Abdulla Saqr resigns as UAE national coach

Abdulla Saqr resigned from his post as national coach of the UAE football team yesterday. Saqr's resignation came following the national team's second straight defeat in the Asian qualifiers for the 2002 World Cup against Qatar in Abu Dhabi.
