400 new Muslims to have iftar together

Dubai: The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) has organised iftar for 400 new Muslims from different nationalities.

Speaking on the event, Huda Al Kaabi, chairman of New Muslims Section said: “The department takes care of the issues related to new Muslims. It helps them to learn the basic principles, teachings and concepts of Islam and to get familiar with the Muslim community.”

The iftar was sponsored by Dubai Charity and Adnan Saffarini Engineering Consultants. The event also included short lectures about Islamic values and ethics.
