Bespoke shows by over 40 international artists.
How many pavilions will be there? Are there new entrants?
There will be 32 pavilions representing 75 countries. Japan and Russia will be the new entrants while Indonesia and Palestine will be making a comeback.
Tell us about the preparation for this season.
At Global Village we literally never take a break. Soon after a season ends, we start work on the next one. This year we are focusing on delivering a brand new cultural and entertainment experience. There is a bigger area for families. We are working hand in hand with Dubai’s various government authorities to ensure the highest international standards.
What was the footfall last year and what is your anticipation for this season?
It was five million people last season. We expect around the same numbers this year too.

What are the timings?
From Saturday to Wednesday it will be open from 4pm to 12am. On Thursday, Friday and public holidays, it runs until 1 am. Monday will be a family day.
What is the ticket price?
Entry tickets are Dh15 per person. Children under three, people with special needs and guests aged 65 and above enter free. We also have various package deals starting from Dh900. The most expensive one is for Dh10,000 which includes 200 VIP tickets.
