Books distributed and simple maintenance work completed in educational zones
Dubai: Educational zones say they are ready to welcome pupils back for the second school semester in the country.
Heads of these zones said pupils returning on Sunday were prepared to plunge into their studies after the second semester school books have been distributed. They added that simple school maintenance work was also done during the school break.
The first school semester exam results were also ready to be handed to pupils.
Dr Ahmad Eid Al Mansouri, director of Dubai Educational Zone, said that the zone ended processing its schools to receive pupils. He added that teams have been put together to follow up with schools during the first days of the second semester, to identify anything the school needs.

He also pointed out that an expanded survey will be applied to check on teachers’ ability to cope with emergency situations, and announced the readiness of schools for distributing the results of the first semester exams to pupils in accordance with the deadlines set by the ministry. Saeed Al Kaabi, director of Sharjah Educational Zone, said that every department in the region had prepared a special plan for welcoming the second semester schedule.
He pointed out that the region is keen to follow up with the correction of the first semester’s exam papers to announce the results in a timely manner. Al Kaabi pointed out that the region has determined a set of tasks for all its departments, including the Special Education Department to conduct a careful follow-up of the educational process in its first day in all schools.
