Dubai: Unacademy, India’s largest learning platform, has been announced as the ‘Official Partner’ for the Indian Premier League (IPL) that is scheduled to be held in the UAE from September 19 to November 10.
The announcement, that was made on the official website of the IPL by the Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC), said that the partnership will open with the 2020 edition while covering three seasons of the annual tournament.
The Bengaluru-based edutech firm, Unacademy, aims to build an online knowledge repository for multilingual education by bringing expert educators together from across the globe.

Originally created as a YouTube channel in 2010 by Gaurav Munjal, Unacademy came into being as a company in 2015 when Munjal teamed up with Roman Saini and Hemesh Singh with its headquarters in Bengaluru.
The company currently valued at $510 million (Dhs 1.87 billion) has a network of over 18,000 educators, and offers preparation material for several professional and educational entrance exams.
