Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Sunday instructed the payment of one-month basic salary to all employees and retired workers of Sharjah government.
Dr Shaikh Sultan’s move comes in implementation of the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to order the payment of one-month salary to all serving and retired government employees, civilians and military, as well as beneficiaries of social welfare services.
The kind gesture is in celebration of the centennial anniversary of the birth of the founding father, the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, observed on May 6, 2018.
Earlier on Saturday, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates ordered payment of one-month salary to all serving and retired government employees.
