Ruler of Ajman orders reduction of tourism fees

The measure is in place until December 31, 2018

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has ordered the reduction of tourism fees collected at hotels and tourist establishments from 10 per cent to seven per cent.

The move is effective from July 1 through to December 31, 2018, and is aimed at accelerating the Vision of Ajman 2021 plan, which seeks to attract investment to the emirate’s tourism and hotel sectors, according to a statement.
