Dubai: A hazy and partly-cloudy Saturday has been predicted by weathermen.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted clouds over the easter areas that may be convective at times — 'convection clouds' are ones that form and grow as the air floats upwards on account of being warmer than the surrounding air.

The temperature continues to rise as the country welcomes the desert heat for the summer season, with the minimum level at 20.7°C on Saturday in Ras Al Khaimah's Jebel Jais mountain range.

Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Fujairah, meanwhile, is predicted to see afternoon maximum temperatures rise to 41°Celsius on Saturday and Sunday — from just 38°C to 39°C on Friday.

Dubai’s maximum temperature will rise from 38°C to 39°C on Saturday and to 40°C on Sunday.

Humidity is also expected to rise by night and early morning over some coastal areas.

Light to moderate winds in general will affect the country.

It’s the perfect time to go to the beach as the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will be slight to moderate.
