Dubai: Don’t forget to put on your sunscreen if you’re heading outdoors this weekend as the UAE will have plenty of sunshine and hot and hazy weather in general.

Friday will be hot in general and fair to partly cloudy over some areas at times. The mercury is expected to hit 41 degree Celsius along the coastal cities of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and even Fujairah.

The Southwesterly wind becoming Northwesterly, by afternoon with speeds ranging between 15km/h and 30km/h, reaching 38km/h at times, might kick up dust in exposed areas at times.

Hazy conditions are expected to continue until Saturday. The mercury will rise over most of the country by around two to three degrees. Dubai and Sharjah’s maximum temperature will climb to 43C on Saturday while Abu Dhabi’s will peak at 44C.

The Arabian Gulf will be slight to moderate and the Oman Sea will be moderate, becoming rough at times during daytime.

No major weather changes are expected on Sunday and Monday that will continue to be hot and hazy.

Relative humidity and cloud amount are expected to increase. The eastern coast will get a respite from the heat, however, as a slight fall in temperature is expected.
