Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday received Dr Ali Abdul Aal, Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives at Zabeel Palace.
Shaikh Mohammad and the Egyptian official exchanged talks about fraternal relations between the UAE and Egypt and ways to boost them on all levels to serve the interests of both nations.
They also reviewed the current Arab situation and the role of Arab parliaments in serving national interests at international forums.
Shaikh Mohammad stressed the importance of activating coordination and consultation between Arab parliaments to consolidate their role in enhancing Arab cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Dr Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council, FNC and a number of shaikhs and senior officials.
