Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday attended the signing of an agreement between the Department of Education and Knowledge and the Business School for the World, INSEAD, to renew their partnership for the next ten years,

Under the agreement, INSEAD will continue to operate the management and development of its campus in Abu Dhabi according to the highest international standards and the same way used by the college in managing its activities across its affiliated universities in France and Singpour.

The agreement aims to enhance Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading Centre for education and knowledge as well as developing talents and competences.

The agreement was signed by Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Education and Knowledge, and Dr Andreas Jacobs, Chairman, INSEAD.

Shaikh Mohammad exchanged talks with officials from Department of Education and Knowledge and INSEAD about the aspirations for developing education by forging unique partnerships with various prestigious institutions in the world.

The renewal of the partnership between the Department of Education and Knowledge and INSEAD represents a practical step to build on the achievements made through both sides’ partnership over the course of the past 10 years. It is also an important step the supports the movement towards the knowledge-based economy through providing high quality education, building knowledge-based economy and preparing highly skilled human capital.

INSEAD is one of the world’s leading business education institutions that offers a range of postgraduate programmes, including the PhD programme in management, MBA and Executive MBA, as well as executive education programmes, which are designed to develop the skills of managers and CEOs.
