Ras Al Khaimah: The UAE leadership is proud of the sacrifices made by the martyred soldiers who are heroes of the nation, families of the slain servicemen were told yesterday.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the families of martyrs.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, accompanied Shaikh Mohammad during his visits to the mourning tents in Ras Al Khaimah.

He visited the family of the martyrs Ahmad Mohammad Ali Al Shehi located in Al Jeer, Rashid Saeed Rashid Al Habsi in Seih Al Burairat, Adel Saleh Abdullah Al Shehi in Al Jawlan, and Abdullah Omar Mubarak Al Jaberi in Mamoura. In Al Dheit, he visited the mourning majlis of martyrs Ali Hussain Ali Al Beloushi, Ali Hassan Mohammad Al Shehi, and Yousuf Abdullah Al Ali. Shaikh Mohammad then visited the majlis mourning the martyrs Al Shatti Saeed Abdullah Al Sayad in Khazan, and Rashid Mohammad Mattar Al Masaferi in Suhaila.

In Al Diqdaqa, Shaikh Mohammad visited the mourning majlis for the martyrs Obaid Saeed Khalifa Al Shamsi and Mohammad Saeed Mohammad Al Khateri.

Shaikh Mohammad expressed his condolences and praised the high spirits, national loyalty and dignity that he sensed during his visits to the families.

Shaikh Mohammad said the martyrs have set examples for future Emirati generations, consolidating sound national values and bolstering the concept of national contribution and cohesion during good and hard times under the banner of the nation and UAE leadership, which spares no effort in harnessing national capabilities and wealth to ensure the well-being and happiness of Emiratis.

“The martyrs are heroes. Their sons are our sons. We share your pain and we also share your joy. In this nation, we are all one family. There is no difference between leader and citizen, young or old, and rich or poor. We are one. When an organ is in pain, the entire body hurts,” said Shaikh Mohammad to the families.

“We are very proud of the sacrifices of our Emirati youth, and their devotion and achievements in all fields. They are courageous in peace, war, work, education and progress in all fields that build a nation which is proud of its civilisational achievements,” added Shaikh Mohammad.

Also in Ras Al Khaimah, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, continued his visits to the families.

Accompanied by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Shaikh Mohammad offered condolences to the families of martyrs Obaid Saeed Al Shamsi and Mohammad Saeed Mohammad Al Khateri in Al Diqdaqa area.

His entourage then proceeded to Suhaila area where they met the family of martyr Rashid Mohammad Mattar Al Musafiri, and later visited the mourning tents for martyr Al Shatti Saeed Abdullah Al Sayyad in Al Kharran, martyrs Yousuf Abdullah Eisa Al Ali, Ali Mohammad Hassan Al Shehi and Ali Hussian Ali Al Beloushi in Al Dheit area.

In Al Ain, His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, offered condolences to the families of martyrs Saad Mohammad Saleh Al Ahbabi and Butti Ayel Al Ahbabi in Al Salamat area.

He also met the families of martyrs Abdullah Khalifa Al Nuaimi in Al Hili and Omar Rashid Al Meqbali in Umm Ghafa.

Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, offered his condolences to the families of martyrs Rashid Saeed Al Habsi, Adel Saleh Al Shehi, Abdullah Omar Al Jaberi, Ali Hassan Al Shehi, Ali Hussain Al Beloushi, Ahmad Mohammad Yedid Al Shehi, and Obaid Saeed Al Mazroui during his visits to mourning tents set up in their honour in Ras Al Khaimah.

In Sharjah, Shaikh Saif visited mourning tents for Yousuf Hassan Al Obaidly in Al Tarfana, as well as for martyrs Ahmad Gulam Lengawi and Waleed Mohammad Al Yasi in Nouf area in Sharjah.
