Ajman Ruler, Crown Prince join solemn occasion

They attend ceremony to observe Commemoration Day

AJMAN: His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, attended the ceremony to observe Commemoration Day on Thursday.

They stood for a one-minute silence, in appreciation and gratitude to those UAE soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the dignity of the nation and to maintain the stability of the region, as well as support and restore the right.

The Ajman Ruler and those accompanying him arrived at 11.30am and stood in silence for one minute. The audience prayed for the martyrs, and the UAE flag was raised as the national anthem was played in the background to express appreciation for the martyrs, as well as solidarity with their families.

The ceremony aimed to mark the solemn occasion, reflecting the appreciation and gratitude of Emirati society for the sacrifices of the martyrs.
