Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) have called on the public to follow safety instructions during Eid Al Fitr holiday.

Police also urged the public to take all precautionary safety measures in places such as parks and malls as well as other places where there might be huge numbers of visitors.

The police said all pre-emptive measures have been taken to ensure everyone’s safety and the transport security department has boosted its efforts to offer the public its services during the Eid holiday.

Brigadier Ebrahim Al Za’abi, Director of the Department of Transport at Abu Dhabi Police, called on public transport users to cooperate with the police so as to counter inappropriate behaviour, and not to hesitate in asking for help when needed.

Meanwhile, the police’s operations department stressed its readiness to offer various services during Eid Al Fitr holidays round the clock. The department will be receiving calls through the number 999 and will swiftly deal with them by coordinating with police as part of its effort to cut the response time.
