Volunteers clean up canal

Abu Dhabi: More than 26 tons of waste were cleaned up from the Mussaffah Water Canal on Sunday by a team of volunteers, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality announced in a statement on Monday.

The initiative was organised by the municipality as part of its general clean-up activities, and saw the participation of 50 volunteers who worked for nearly 10 hours to clean up the waterway.
