It is also part of achieving the vision of Dubai Municipality to develop a happy and sustainable city.
Al Hajiri stated that the formation of the committee aims at exploring the future needs of the residential neighbourhoods throughout Dubai.
This is expected to contribute to the continuous development process to achieve the happiness of the community and expand the umbrella of comfort and prosperity.
This will also ensure the availability of the means of amenities and facilities in the residential neighbourhoods, especially for the categories of elderly and the people of determination.
The plans will aim at meeting all their needs and focusing on increasing the green areas and organising the cultivated sites in those neighbourhoods.
Al Hajiri added that the committee’s tasks will be reflected in the preparation of an integrated study on the development of residential neighbourhoods, including the development of a plan to implement the project quickly and adopt all creative ideas that enrich its objectives.
He said that the development of new and existing residential areas for citizens to attract residents and meet their needs will be a priority that Dubai Municipality will plan to implement directly with other government agencies concerned.
Al Hajiri added that the Municipality will also open its channels of communication to residents to participate with their proposals for the development of their areas.
