Khalifa wishes them success in discharging duties
Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday received the credentials of nine new ambassadors accredited to the UAE.
The President received the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Canada, Philippines, Austria, Senegal, Thailand, Azerbaijan and Montenegro in the presence of General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President's Representative, and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, other shaikhs and senior officials.
Shaikh Khalifa welcomed the new envoys and wished them success in discharging their assignments and enhancing the relations between the UAE and their respective countries.
He reiterated the UAE's commitment to boosting ties with all fraternal and friendly countries and promised the new diplomats total cooperation and support from all state organisations to facilitate the smooth discharge of their duties in the country.
The ambassadors expressed their happiness at representing their countries in the UAE and lauded the UAE's wise leadership.
The diplomats praised the UAE for its wise policies under the leadership of Shaikh Khalifa as well as for its effective role and balanced policies towards international issues.
A reception ceremony was held for the ambassadors before they were received by Shaikh Khalifa.
