Dubai: Pupils in the UAE have passed the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exams, conducted by the Kerala Board in March, with flying colours.

From the New Indian Model School (NIMS), Dubai, 88 pupils who took the examination passed, making it a clean sweep for the 24th consecutive year.

Laxmi Rajagopal P. and Najmal Abdul Jabbar topped the school securing A+ grades in all 10 subjects.

NIMS, Al Ain reaped 100 per cent success. Out of the 20 pupils presented by the school, all came out with excellent grades. Athira Manikantan, Jessy Mol Joy and Sania Elza Mathews turned out to be the toppers of the girls by scoring nine A+ grades and one A grade each.

The second position was shared by Shebeeha Abdullakkutty and Ambarin scoring eight A+ grades and two As.

NIMS, Sharjah, the only Kerala Board affiliated school in the emirate, secured top ranks in the SSLC results announced yesterday morning. All the pupils who appeared from the school achieved excellent grades with Mohammad Abdul Sami, Neethu Babu, Priya Kuriakose, and Sangeetha and Sruthy Karthik achieving A+ grades in all ten subjects. Ninety per cent of the pupils have secured A grades.

In the Model School Abu Dhabi, all 116 pupils who sat for the exam passed, while 16 pupils secured A+ grades in all ten subjects.

In the Indian School Fuairah, all 45 pupils passed the exam. Ten pupils achieved A+ in all ten subjects and six secured A+ in nine subjects.
