Muscat: The next movie of Shah Rukh Khan, who will perform in Muscat on February 13, will be largely based in Dubai, the actor told Gulf News during an interaction with media on Tuesday at the Taj Lands End Hotel near his house Mannat in Mumbai.

“I am busy shooting for comedy Chennai Express and after that we have planned a film that is based in Gulf, mostly in Dubai,” he said, adding that except for some indoor shoots that would be done in India the film, yet to be titled, will shot and would be based on Gulf.

Khan will be in Muscat with Katrina Kaif, Preity  Zinta, Anushka Dandekar and Pakistani singing sensation Ali Jaffer for the Nawras presented show -Temptation Reloaded 2013. The Muscat event organisers Light & Shadow did not reveal the venue of the event but sources said that they were in negotiations with Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex and a final agreement was likely to be sealed on Wednesday morning.

The 35,000-capacity sports complex is also venue of the Muscat Festival that starts from Wednesday.

Khan said that he likes to perform in front of the large Asian population that live in Dubai and other Gulf countries.

However, Gaurav Chawla of Cineyug, who are managing Khan’s shows as well as brand portfolio, said that this time the show is being held only Muscat.

Khan said that he would love to explore Oman by going a bit early before the February 13 show. “I would like to see if we can shoot a portion of our next film that would be based on Gulf.”
