Dubai: Mirdif is the latest neighbourhood and commercial area in Dubai to have new paid public parking zones operated by Parkin, the emirate’s public parking operator announced on social media. Starting Monday May 26, Parkin has introduced two parking areas - 251C (on-street) 251D (off-street) will be subject Dubai’s variable parking tariff policy.  

Tariffs for public parking in Mirdif

For 251C parking, its Dh2 per hour druing non-peak hours and Dh4 during peak hours, it goes up to Dh16 during peak hours for four hours and Dh11 for fours during non-peak hours.

For 251D, it is Dh2 per hour during non-peak hours and Dh4 during peak hours and its Dh20 for 24 hours.

Public parking timings

Paid public parking in Dubai is valid from 8am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday. Sundays and public holidays are free of charge.

Understanding peak and off-peak public parking tariffs in Dubai

Dubai’s public parking system has introduced new peak and off-peak tariffs to optimise parking management in high-demand areas.

Peak and off-peak parking hours

  • Peak hours: 8am 10am and 4pm to 8pm 

  • Off-peak hours: 10am to 4pm and 8pm to 10pm

Parking subscriptions in Dubai neighbourhoods

Recently, Parkin also announced that parking subscriptions are now available across all areas it manages. The parking subscription service offers several benefits, particularly for residents living in densely populated neighbourhoods or individuals who frequently rely on public parking. These areas include Silicon Oasis, Dubai Hills, Wasl Real Estate Communities like Karama, Al Qusais, and Al Kifaf
