Dubai: Global Village, one of the UAE’s most iconic outdoor attractions, will close its doors for the summer season on May 11, 2025. As is tradition, the venue shuts down during the hot months and reopens once the weather cools. Global Village began its 29th season on October 16, 2024 and welcomes millions of visitors each year.

Since its launch in 1997 with just a few retail kiosks, Global Village has grown into one of Dubai’s top seasonal outdoor destinations. This year’s edition features over 90 cultures across 30 vibrant pavilions and includes more than 175 rides, games, and attractions. It's an event that continues to celebrate diversity, culture, and entertainment for all ages.

Here’s everything you need to know before this season ends.

Ticket prices for Global Village

Tickets for Global Village are available online, with convenient booking through the official website: www.globalvillage.ae. Here are the ticket prices for this season:

  • Dh25 – Weekday ticket (Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays).

  • Dh30 – Any day ticket.

  • Free – Entry for children under 3, seniors over 60, and People of Determination.

What’s included in your ticket

A single ticket gives you access to a wealth of attractions, including:

  • Entry to over 30 pavilions, including exciting new additions.

  • Access to the Emirati Heritage Area.

  • Over 200 daily shows and performances.

  • Activities at the Kids’ Theatre featuring beloved characters.

Global Village timings

Global Village is open during the following hours:

  • Sunday to Wednesday: 4pm to 12am

  • Thursday to Saturday: 4pm to 1am

Tuesdays (excluding public holidays) are reserved for women, children, and families. On the opening day, Global Village will operate from 6pm onwards.

Location and parking information

Global Village is easily accessible by car. If you're driving, take Exit 37 via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Rd/E311 or Emirates Rd/E611. The venue offers general parking in Areas P1 to P12. Notable nearby landmarks include IMG Worlds of Adventure and Cityland Mall.

There is general parking (areas P1 to P12) and it is free of charge. Use the rickshaw drop-off which starts from Dh5 per person to take you from your parking area to the entry gate.

Dh10 bus trips to Global Village

For those relying on public transport, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) offers four dedicated bus routes to Global Village. These buses run regularly, with the following routes:

  • Route 102 – From Rashidya Bus Station (every 60 minutes)

  • Route 103 – From Union Bus Station (every 40 minutes)

  • Route 104 – From Al Ghubaiba Bus Station (every 60 minutes)

  • Route 106 – From Mall of the Emirates Bus Station (every 60 minutes)

New pavilions to explore

This season, Global Village introduces new pavilions from Jordan, Iraq, and a combined Sri Lanka and Bangladesh pavilion. These additions bring the total number of pavilions to 30, allowing visitors to explore each country’s heritage through their unique markets, traditional foods, and artisanal crafts.

Dining at Global Village: The new ‘Restaurant Plaza’

With over 200 dining options, Global Village offers a wide range of culinary delights from restaurants and cafes to street food stalls. This season, visitors can enjoy a brand-new dining experience at the Restaurant Plaza, located near the Carnaval area. The plaza features 11 two-storey restaurants, each offering panoramic views of the venue, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal.

What to do at Global Village

At Global Village, visitors can explore a vast array of shopping outlets, featuring everything from traditional Indian spices to handicrafts and souvenirs from Russia, Africa, Europe, and beyond. Popular items include hand-crafted rugs from Iran and Sidr honey from Yemen. The Carnaval area offers over 175 rides, games, and attractions for all ages, while the diverse selection of over 250 eateries serves dishes from around the world, including Thai, Emirati, Bosnian, and Korean cuisines.

With more than 40,000 cultural and entertainment performances each season, there's always something happening, from headline acts and children’s entertainment to street performers. Thrilling stunt shows, complete with back-flipping bikes, explosions, and daring falls, are a highlight. Another must-see attraction is the ‘Ripley’s Believe it or Not!’ museum, featuring interactive exhibits, oddities, pop-culture memorabilia, a mirror maze, and a moving 4D theatre experience.
