Dubai: Etihad Airways said on Wednesday it will introduce a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on its route from Abu Dhabi to Rabat, replacing the Airbus A330-300 currently being used on the route.

Etihad said the move, which is effective October 3, will provide increased cargo capacity to the Moroccan capital, and provide passengers with the latest in-flight technology. The move also comes after Etihad in May placed the 787 Dreamliner on its daily flights to the Moroccan city of Casablanca.
