Dubai: Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Raees, has expressed deep sorrow over the recent attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

The tragic incident on April 22 claimed the lives of 26 civilians — 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen — leaving the region and many beyond in mourning.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Mahira shared a heartfelt message:
“Violence anywhere in the world, in any shape or form, is an act of mere cowardice. My condolences to all those affected by the attack in Pahalgam. #PahalgamAttack”

Her statement follows similar expressions of grief from other prominent figures, including actor Fawad Khan, who also voiced his heartbreak over the violence and extended his condolences to the victims' families.

The messages reflect a shared sentiment of solidarity and a call for peace across borders.
