Dubai: Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, that claimed the lives of 26 people. Taking to his social media, the Khoobsurat and Kapoor & Sons actor expressed grief over the horrifying incident.
“Deeply saddened to hear the news of the heinous attack in Pahalgam. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this horrifying incident, and we pray for strength and healing for their families in this difficult time,” he wrote on Instagram.
The Pahalgam tragedy has drawn widespread condemnation from all quarters.
His co-star Vaani Kapoor, who also appears in the upcoming film Abir Gulaal with Fawad, echoed similar sentiments, calling the attack “devastating” and saying she was “at a loss for words.”
The tragedy has sparked emotional responses from artistes across India and Pakistan, with many calling for peace and solidarity over division and violence.
