She didn’t wait for a grand launch nor was she born into a film dynasty to initiate such a big launch in films, but Hania Aamir just traipsed in, smiled, flashed her dimples, and stole the spotlight.

Hania’s entry was straight out of a script: a university student who auditioned on a whim and landed a role in Janaan (2016). The film did well, and just like that, Hania was officially someone to watch.

Over the next few years, she did what every smart young star does — try a bit of everything. Villainy in Titli, comedy in Na Maloom Afraad 2, a patriotic turn in Parwaaz Hai Junoon, and a hint of romance, scandal and sass in TV hits like Ishqiya and Dil Ruba. But the turning point came with Mere Humsafar (2022), where she played Hala — a soft-spoken woman with an emotional core that hit home for audiences. That show didn’t just make her a bigger star — it made her the moment.

And now, she’s taking that star power across the border.

Currently, Hania is a part of the Indian Punjabi-language film debut in Sardaar Ji 3, starring opposite Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa.

The project is already making noise — not just because of its blockbuster glory, but because Hania is among the very few Pakistani actresses making this kind of crossover, especially at a time when political tensions often get in the way of creative ones.

Off-screen, Hania is just as relevant. With over a million fans hanging onto her every post, she’s currently the most-followed Pakistani celebrity on Instagram, ahead of even long-time social media queens like Ayeza Khan. She’s a red carpet fixture, the face of major cosmetic and beverage brands and regularly turns her personal style moments into viral content.

She’s already got a Hum Award, an ARY Film Award, and a healthy collection of Lux Style nominations — but if you ask Hania, the real win is probably owning her narrative, on her terms.

Whether she’s playing a spoiled TikToker or a quiet storm of a romantic lead, Hania Aamir knows how to hold the frame. And with Sardaar Ji 3 in cinemas now, she’s not just a Pakistani star — she’s going regional, and maybe even global.

Stay tuned. She’s not done yet.
