Blackpink’s Deadline tour has certainly created a buzz, but the reactions have been mixed, to say the least. For months, fans speculated about what the group would bring to the stage, especially since the members had been focusing on solo activities and hadn’t released a new song, let alone an album. Questions started circulating: What would they perform on tour? And more importantly, could they even pull it off, given reports that they hadn’t rehearsed?

In an attempt to reassure fans, Blackpink recently announced a new song as part of the tour. But instead of excitement, the news triggered more backlash, particularly from their own fanbase, the Blinks. One fan wrote, “All this for one song? There should have been an album at least.” Others pointed fingers at YG Entertainment, accusing the agency of neglect. “It’s an unfair, disrespectful approach for such a massive group. They’re the biggest girl group in the world. Three years and no real comeback? It’s ridiculous.”

Some fans are placing the blame on the members themselves. “They don’t even try to promote properly. It feels like they’re intentionally damaging their legacy, treating fans like cash grabs with zero dedication,” one longtime fan posted.

Given the last tour drew criticism for disjointed performances, it’s no surprise that social media is now flooded with posts from fans re-selling their tickets—many saying they don’t want to sit through another “messy” show.
