Bollywood veteran Govinda was rushed to Mumbai’s CritiCare Hospital in Juhu late Tuesday night after he reportedly lost consciousness at his home, according to multiple media reports. The 61-year-old actor, known for his infectious energy and comic timing, is said to be under observation while doctors run a series of diagnostic tests.

Sources close to the family told reporters that Govinda experienced sudden dizziness and collapsed before being taken to the hospital. His legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, confirmed that he is stable and undergoing routine investigations.

Interestingly, the incident occurred just a day after Govinda was spotted visiting veteran actor Dharmendra at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The two shared a warm moment that went viral on social media, with fans praising Govinda’s gesture of support.

While his family has requested privacy, fans across India have flooded X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram with wishes for his speedy recovery. The hashtag #GetWellSoonGovinda has already begun trending, underscoring the enduring love for the star of Coolie No.1, Hero No.1, and Haseena Maan Jaayegi.

Govinda, who has largely stayed away from films in recent years, made headlines last year when he suffered a minor injury in a freak accident involving his licensed revolver. Despite health scares, the actor has continued to charm audiences with his public appearances and interviews, often reminiscing about Bollywood’s golden ’90s era.

As of now, doctors at CritiCare Hospital say he is stable and recovering well. Further updates on his condition are expected soon.
