Jungkook’s influence has sent everything he touches straight off the shelves
BTS’s Jungkook has officially claimed the crown once more—this time as the ultimate 'Sold-out king'. The item he casually threw on during a livestream? Gone. Every size. Every colour. Poof.
Recently, Jungkook appeared on Weverse Live for his broadcast ‘Badada,’ rocking a black LU’U DAN Washed Zip Hoodie layered over a gray sleeveless tee. It was also during the OT7 reunion live on the beach, much celebration as Jin had finally joined them after touring through Europe. Much cheer, joy, tears and love flooded for the boys, especially Jungkook's hoodie.
Fans barely had time to fangirl before the hoodie completely sold out on the brand’s official store. The World Music Awards tweeted, “During BTS’s Weverse Live, the LU’U DAN Washed Zip Hoodie Jungkook wore on the beach has already sold out in all sizes.”
Of course, Jungkook, who has a separate fanbase just for his piercings, didn’t just stop at hoodie-level perfection. He paired it with earrings and a lip piercing. SK POP reported that followers quickly crowned him the “SOLD OUT KING”—and honestly, can anyone argue? It cost $395 dollars too.
And this isn’t a one-off. Jungkook’s influence has sent everything he touches straight off the shelves: from a mask he wore on July 31 departing for LA, to livestream items like glasses, scented candles, mugs, and even seaweed flakes. After his mukbang, the fried chicken he ordered skyrocketed to #1 and #6 on real-time search charts on delivery apps.
Basically, if Jungkook wears it, eats it, or casually touches it? Consider it sold.
On another note, the band reunited this year after military service and have teased that their next album will drop in 2026. And, a world tour to come. So, who knows, you might have a chance to buy Jungkook's hoodie?
