No doubt, many K-Pop idol fights are destined to go down in history. The best part: Most of them are so dramatic that the stars can’t stop laughing about them years later. Some of the stories remain mysteries—we may never know the real reason behind them. Take the infamous dumpling fight between V and Jimin, for example. As devoted ARMYs know, we might need an entire book to truly understand what went down.

The world of K-Pop is full of such clashes—some serious enough that idols prefer not to revisit them, and others as trivial (but hilarious) as a dumpling dispute. From spilled drinks to choreography clashes, idols have shared some of their most memorable fights, whether with fellow members or even fans. Here’s a roundup of legendary K-Pop squabbles, ranging from funny misunderstandings to near-physical altercations—all straight from the idols themselves.

BTS clashes: Rain, food and tours

They love each other dearly, don’t doubt that. However, as they themselves note, living with each other in such a high-pressure environment and stress has led to several complicated fights. For instance, Jimin and V once had a dramatic disagreement over dumplings. They reportedly didn’t speak for weeks.

However, a more serious fight that was captured on camera, was between Jin and V, when they clashed over Spring Day choreography during the Wings Tour. RM had to step in, and later was seen comforting a teary V. Later, he reminded them to act professionally for the fans waiting outside. The resolution came with honest conversations about respect and listening, proving that even heated fights can strengthen friendships.

Moreover, pre-debut RM and Suga also had a series of hilarious arguments, so frequent that Suga later immortalised them in BTS lyrics, referencing fights over things as trivial as wallpaper and bathroom decor.

And let’s not forget Jimin and Jungkook’s dramatic fight, where Jimin stormed out in the rain. He walked alone in the rain for about 20 minutes, only to receive a heartfelt apology from Jungkook over the phone. Jimin, still upset, agreed to meet Jungkook, who had been searching for him in the rain. Their reunion was emotional, with Jimin recalling it as a moment straight out of a drama. This incident was later shared by the members during BTS Festa 2020, showcasing their growth and the strength of their friendship.

Stray Kids: Han, Hyunjin, Changbin and Chan

Han and Hyunjin had a particularly difficult relationship before the debut, and were well-known for their clashes. Han's sensitivity was evident during the 'wallet incident' with Seungmin. Seungmin had been waiting for Han to clean up his belongings, but Han did not do so. One day, Seungmin confronted Han, leading to Han throwing his wallet at Seungmin. This incident was later discussed in the "2 Kids Room" series, where Han expressed his regret over the event.

Super Junior: Leeteuk, Heechul, Ryeowook and others

Super Junior fights are legendary for their petty yet chaotic nature. From spilled cola and ice cream mishaps to disputes over high-fives and airport food, the members have turned everyday annoyances into epic stories.  In the Incheon Battle, a significant altercation between Leeteuk and Heechul occurred during the 2010 Incheon Korean Music Wave concert. The disagreement escalated to a physical confrontation, with both members admitting to pushing and shoving each other. Leeteuk later acknowledged that the fight nearly led to the group's disbandment .

Moreover, Battle of Bangkok was noted for some severe intense and heated arguments over hairstyles, leaving Eunhyuk in tears.

Mamamoo: Moonbyul and Solar

Moonbyul and Solar revealed that in their early days, fights could get physical, hair-pulling, kicking, even digging nails into each other, though they later learned to handle disagreements more gracefully.

Seventeen: Seungkwan, DK and Jeonghan

Seventeen members also have plenty of memorable fights. A visit to Jeju turned into a multi-perspective story of misunderstandings, with each member sharing their own version, highlighting how personality clashes can become legendary stories in hindsight.

The conflict began when Jeonghan and DK invited Seungkwan to join them on a day trip to Jeju Island. During the trip, the trio took turns paying for activities. The tension escalated when Jeonghan and DK expressed interest in riding a transparent kayak, prompting Jeonghan to suggest that Seungkwan pay for it. Seungkwan, feeling reluctant and perceiving that DK might be avoiding the expense due to previous purchases, became upset. This misunderstanding led to a brief argument between Seungkwan and DK.

To defuse the situation, Jeonghan intervened by taking a group photo, which inadvertently highlighted the tension between Seungkwan and DK. In an attempt to ease the discomfort, Seungkwan jokingly claimed that the disagreement was part of a "candid camera prank," which surprisingly led to laughter among the members. The situation was further lightened when the two were chosen to ride the kayak together, leading to mutual apologies and a photo that captured their reconciliation.

SHINee: Key and Minho

SHINee’s Key and Minho famously clashed over differences in dialect, which led to tension and awkward cold wars. Over time, the duo became close friends, proving that even linguistic differences can turn into a fun story to look back on.
