UAE participates in 14th UNCTAD meeting

Conference focuses on sustainable development, investment reforms

Abu Dhabi: A UAE delegation headed by the Ministry of Economy is currently participating in the 14th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD 14) that opened in Nairobi on Sunday.

The conference is being held under the theme ‘From decision to action: Moving towards an inclusive and equitable global economic environment for trade and development’.

The conference talks will revolve around sustainable development, increased investment towards a green economy, and investment reforms.

It was inaugurated by Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, and is also being attended by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
