Turkish exports to UAE amount to $3.21b in 2017

Dubai: The value of Turkish exports to the UAE went up 7.5 per cent in 2017 to reach $3.21 billion (Dh11.8 billion) from $2.99 billion a year earlier, according to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

Top Turkish exports to the UAE included jewellery, chemical industry products, electronics, grain and cereal, furniture, paper, and mining products, among others.

The Assembly said it expects to see a 5.5 per cent growth in Turkey’s economy over the coming year, driven primarily by industrial production and services.
