Workshop on cruise tourism concludes in Sharjah

Sharjah: Senior officials and heads of various Sharjah government departments took part in a workshop titled ‘Cruise Tourism: Opportunities and Challenges’ which was held by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority in the last week of January.

The orientation and training campaign included a number of workshops, lectures and seminars about the concept, importance and potential of international luxury cruise tourism. The workshop also aimed at exploring the ways and means to drive the industry’s growth in Sharjah and included sessions on the role of transportation in promoting cruise tourism.
