Sheraton to open over 20 hotels globally

Abu Dhabi: Sheraton, an international hotel brand, is expected to see at least 20 new hotel openings around the world the end of the year, the hotel’s operator, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, announced on Thursday.

Sheraton will enter Sri Lanka and Romania this year, building upon its 2014 debut in Tajikistan and last month’s launch in Samoa.

Strong demand across the Asia Pacific is also driving future pipeline growth, with the brand set to open over one third of its new hotels in the region in 2015.
