Dubai: Ras Al Khaimah’s Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) and RAK Ports signed a memorandum of understanding to develop the boutique cruise and water tourism proposition in Ras Al Khaimah.

Under the agreement, both parties will work on multiple maritime projects to support the development of cruise tourism offerings.

To achieve this, RAK Port Authority will finalise the transformation of its existing ferry terminal into a boutique cruise passenger terminal and develop transport infrastructure around it. Meanwhile, RAKTDA will design visitor itineraries to attract leisure passengers.
