Dubai: Dubai’s second ‘Atlantis’ branded luxury project is casting the net wide for buyers for its residences. Given the renewed interest high-end properties in Dubai are having with buyers, it shouldn’t prove too much of a stretch.
The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences — scheduled to open late next year — features 231 apartments ranging in size from 1,434 to a staggering 17,088 square feet. Prices start from Dh6.99 million. (A hotel component on the west side will see a further 795 guest rooms.)
According to Issam Galadari, director of The Royal Atlantis Residences, “The time is right for the next phase of the iconic Atlantis brand. The high-net-worth global citizen is ready for the new dawn of residential experience. The development will become the new landmark of Dubai and will support the ‘Dubai Plan 2021’ in positioning the city as one of the best places to live in the world.”
Residents can choose from 82 individual layouts, each providing ceiling heights of up to three metres and each with water views. Many of the residences feature their own terraced gardens and private infinity pools.
Maria Morris, partner and head of Mena Residential at Knight Frank M.E., said: “Kerzner International, through [its] Atlantis and One&Only brands, has always redefined destinations and introduced awe-inspiring and never-before-seen experiences, and this next phase in Atlantis’s development is no exception. Now is the optimum time for property buyers to purchase in Dubai.”
The New York firm of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates designed the exterior, while the interior of each residence is by Paris-based Sybille de Margerie. The hotel guest room and suite interiors are the work of London-based GA Design. And the David Mexico Design Group was tasked with creating a sky-high infinity Sky Pool, elevated to 295 feet.
