For flights to and from the UAE, Pawsome Pets provides clients with pet travel documents
A new private jet charter service is taking the stress out of pet travel by letting owners fly with their furry companions in the cabin, rather than leaving them in cargo. Fly JetPets, a licensed private aviation travel service provider based in Dubai, is now offering a private and shared flight model for pets and their owners on global private jet routes.
This isn’t just about luxury; it’s a response to a booming market. The global pet travel industry is expected to be worth an estimated $4.6 billion by 2032, with the Asia Pacific region seeing major growth. According to recent reports, over 40 per cent of middle-aged travelers and nearly a quarter of seniors are now bringing their pets with them on trips, a clear sign that our travel habits are changing. People now see their pets as family, so it turns out they don't want to be separated during long flights.
Gunawan Wahab, the founder and CEO of Fly JetPets, says he understands the anxiety that comes with flying with an animal. “As a pet parent myself, I understand the anxiety and concern that can come with planning air travel with a pet,” he said. The company was founded to provide a more reliable option, one that keeps the animal’s safety and comfort in mind.
The service provides a comprehensive solution for pet owners. Fly JetPets handles all the details from start to finish, including securing pet-friendly aircraft and managing the often-complex travel documents. Through a joint effort with partners like Jetex and Pawsome Pets, the company can arrange flights from almost anywhere in the world.
For now, travelers can book an entire plane for their own use, or they can opt for a shared charter. These shared flights are organized on demand, with the company grouping together people who are traveling to similar destinations at similar times. The company's goal is to simplify a process that many find stressful, making sure every journey feels assured and respectful of the bond between pets and their owners.
The launch of Fly JetPets new service shows that the private aviation industry is evolving with passenger expectations, particularly as more people with pets look for travel solutions that prioritize their companions' well-being.
