Carlson Rezidor group to open new hotels
The group plans 12 new Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson-branded properties in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman and Egypt
Abu Dhabi: Carlson Rezidor hotel group has announced a record number of signings across the Middle East in 2014.
Over the next two years, at least 12 new Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson-branded properties, with a total of 2,412 rooms, will open in locations within Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman and Egypt, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The group manages the Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson properties. In 2013, Rezidor signed 10 hotels into its portfolio, while in 2012, this figure stood at five properties in the Middle East. Regional signings represented 40 per cent of Rezidor’s global signings, with new signings in Saudi Arabia comprising 25 per cent globally, the company stated.
