Dubai: Want to borrow a board game or a Halloween costume? Try online.
An online rental marketplace, tnerit, has launched in Dubai to give residents the opportunity to lend and borrow a variety of items. The app is currently only available for users in Dubai, and is accessible via the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. The company plans to make the app available in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in 2019.
“We want tnerit to be the go-to app used throughout Dubai by people who wish to earn and save,” said a company spokesperson. “We live in a time when individuals want to own and experience products that exceed what they can afford. Hard work and savings are one way to go about achieving these desires — but an easier way is tnerit.”
Categories currently available include electronics, home garden and DIY, holiday and travel, toys, games, hobbies and party supplies, sports and fitness, appliances, apparel and books.
