Dubai: Property developer Nakheel on Sunday announced the completion of a new Dh60 million retail Pavilion at Badrah in Jebel Ali. The new retail complex, operated by Nakheel Malls, will offer more than 800 households at its Badrah and Veneto communities a host of shops, cafes and amenities.

26 outlets coming to Pavilion in addition to Carrefour

An 8,000 square foot Carrefour supermarket has already opened at the 72,000 square foot Pavilion, with another 26 outlets coming soon, besides a car park for 270 vehicles, Nakheel said in a statement. Other features in the pipeline at Badrah include a mosque and sports facilities, including a pool and gym.

Located in the Badrah community in Jebel Ali, the retail complex, Nakheel said, is the sixth in its growing collection of Pavilions, complementing others already in operation at Jumeirah Park, Jumeirah Islands, Discovery Gardens, International City and Al Furjan, where a second is under construction.

The new Pavilion will serve residents across the Badrah and Veneto communities, as well as people working at the nearby Jebel Ali Free Zone, Nakheel said.

Nakheel Pavilions are dedicated retail centres designed to meet the needs of each of its communities. And each pavilion features a supermarket, convenience stores, restaurants and other amenities for on-the-doorstep shopping and recreation.
