Five UAE-made food brands under one group to scale up output and drive growth
Abu Dhabi: Five of the UAE’s food producers — including Al Ain Farms, Marmum Dairy, Al Ajban Chicken, Golden Eggs (Al Jazira Poultry), and Saha Arabian Farms — have come together under a newly launched entity, Al Ain Farms Group (AAFG).
The group was officially announced at the “Make it in the Emirates” Forum 2025 and will focus on dairy, poultry, juice, and egg production. AAFG is backed by Ghitha Holding and Yas Holding, two major UAE-based investment firms, and aims to support the country’s long-term food security and industrial innovation goals.
This consolidation is part of the UAE’s wider efforts under its National Food Security Strategy 2051, which aims to reduce import dependence and enhance local food production capabilities.
AAFG says it plans to scale up operations and invest in new technologies over the next five years. The group also wants to expand its market presence across the region and support sustainable food production through initiatives such as recyclable packaging and water recycling systems.
Officials said the group will continue to supply a significant share of the UAE’s dairy and poultry needs, while also working on new product lines — including sugar-free and alternative protein products.
The move brings together brands with decades of history under one umbrella, and reflects a trend of consolidation aimed at increasing efficiency, innovation, and food system resilience across the UAE.
AAFG’s leadership stated that the new group is not only about increasing scale, but about preparing the UAE’s food sector for future challenges — from supply chain disruptions to shifting consumer preferences.
