Dubai: Dubai’s next 3-day ‘super-sale’ launches tomorrow (May 30), packed with discounts of up to 90% - and offering shoppers a chance to pick and  choose ahead of their summer holidays.

This week, there is a double benefit for shoppers and retailers, with next week also having heavy Eid Al Adha related offers. That should make for a busy 10-day stretch of heavy discounts and other promotions, as well as giving an indication of consumer trends at the year’s half-way mark.

The 3-day bumper sales run covers more than 500 brands and extend through to 2,500 plus outlets in Dubai.

The smartphone and tech sector are hoping for a strong pick-up in demand as part of ‘last-minute shopping’ before planned holidays. It has been a packed 5 months when it comes to flagship smartphone launches, whether it’s the Samsung S25 Edge, the Huawei Mate XT and Nothing’s latest.

"The Dubai and UAE retail sector has had a mixed first five months, with January sales being among the better ones," said a retailer. "But by April and May, concerns about Trump tariffs seeped into consumer habits, and you can see that in just about every sector - from gold buying to spending on fashion."

With tariffs on the retreat, will the next 3 days of Dubai's super-sales bring shoppers back in a big way?
