More than 38,000 visitors from 179 countries are expected over the course of the Cityscape Global. Some 230 exhibitors from 23 different countries have registered for the show, which covers 42,000 sq m across nine halls at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Tom Rhodes, exhibition director of Cityscape Global, says selling on-site, which is a new feature this year, allows homebuyers and investors to take advantage of attractive price offers during the show.

“We anticipate many exhibiting companies to take this opportunity to unveil show-specific promotions, such as flexible payment plans, and so we encourage all investors and homebuyers to make sure they attend the show to see what’s on offer,” says Rhodes. “We have seen international participation grow this year, and look forward to welcoming pavilions from Pakistan, Bahrain and Korea, alongside large participation from the UK showcasing iconic London properties, including Battersea Power Station.

“This will be further bolstered by attending delegations from China looking at strengthening the investment relations between China and the UAE.”

Rhodes encourages all visitors to register online in advance as he expects an influx driven by exhibitor promotions during the exhibition. “The online preregistration will allow participants to quickly access the show and avoid paying a Dh100 entry fee designated for those who register on the same day.”

With around 65 per cent of Dubai residents representing the mid-range segment, Rhodes says many developers are now incorporating more affordable products into their projects. “Already we have attractive options from Azizi Developments, Danube, Dubai South, MAG PD, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Sobha Group, Deyaar and Union Properties offering projects that target this section of the market, and we look forward to announcing more projects in the run-up to the exhibition.

“From an investment stand point, this segment also offers some of the most appealing earnings, with recent Property Monitor figures showing Discovery Gardens and International City offering yields of over 8 per cent.”

Cityscape allows buyers, investors and brokers to directly interact with developers on the show floor.
