Sharjah's upgraded property portal makes it easier for developers, homeowners

Sharjah's property market is going through a sustained boom phase. Now, investors will find they have it easy when it comes to updating their details on the government real estate portal.

Dubai: Sharjah has updated its real estate portal by which developers and investors can input all relevant info instantly.

The website operated by Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department now allows developers to add details such as project registration, an initial sales contract certification, project tracking, and even requests to form homeowners’ associations.

For property investors, the homeowner associations they create can use the portal to include the property management company registration, as well as issue board registration certificates and upload approval of service and maintenance fee declarations. There is even a provision for any complaint submission.

"Government entities can access property ownership report services, while individuals can benefit from ownership services, issuance of replacement title deeds, valuation, and ownership data updates," said a statement.

Banks are provided with specialized services such as mortgage registration, release, increase, and amendment.
