Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts steps foot in Oman
The firm has inked its first Muscat hotel management contract

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, a Swiss-based chain, inked an agreement to operate its first property in Oman’s capital city, Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Al Azaiba Muscat, the Swiss-based hotel chain announced on Thursday.
The deal, signed with the Civil Service Employees Pension Fund, an Omani government fund, will entail an upscale mixed-used development, located in Muscat’s commercial hub, the Ghala District, close to the new international airport and Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The hotel will have 274 guest rooms and suites, and 50 serviced apartments.
